Mission Statement: The Brazos Valley Bombers are committed to providing an affordable family friendly environment to the Brazos Valley residents and visitors. We offer a winning combination of the best possible collegiate summer baseball with a variety of in-game entertainment. We promise a positive baseball related experience to all those involved in our endeavor: fans, players, sponsors, and staff.
Job Description: Interns will rotate through a variety of posts during the program, benefiting from experience in every functional area of the team. Interns will enjoy experience in ballpark operations, concessions, box office operations, ticket sales, public relations, community relations, game entertainment, and baseball operations. Requirements: The intern will need to be a college student or a recent graduate who loves the sports industry and can handle all of the job requirements and time requirements. Opportunities: The owner and full time staff have incredible connections and have taught us how to improve our resumes and interviewing skills. We had the opportunity to get a tour of the Astros stadium and the Dynamo stadium. Achievements: I have completed the training, made community appearances, put tarp on and off the field, stocked hundreds of cases of water for the season, counted ticket stubs, helped run the baseball camp, cleaned the stadium, sold tickets, worked the customer service booth, cleaned up the community, interviewed the player of the game, hung sponsor signs, helped with the on field games, worked the register in the concession stands, picked up food from restaurants before the game, and much more. |
